Uzungöl

Uzungol is located at a height of 1090 m above sea level, 99 km from Trabzon and 19 km from Caykara.

The lake, which was formed by the rocks falling from the slopes in the middle of the valley, obstructed the Haldizen creek, is known as "Uzungöl" and the environment is given the same name. Particularly the old wooden houses of the nearby village of Şerah are complemented by the beauty of nature.

Uzungöl, which attracts great interest of local and foreign tourists, is very rich in terms of its touristic potential. In addition to trekking, bird watching, Uzungol Inan Kardesler botanical tours, you can arrange tours to the lakes between the higher mountains or to other highlands such as Sekersu, Demirkapi and Yaylaonu nearby.
